Privacy policy

BidFit (the "Service") is operated by AutomationGlass, 416 S Grant Street, South Bend, Indiana, USA ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Service, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@automationglass.com.
What we collect
- Account and profile: your email address, company name, NAICS codes, set-aside eligibility, keywords and states you provide at signup or later.
- Marketing source: when you sign up we record which link brought you (UTM tags such as utm_source, the referring website address without its query string, and the first page you visited). We use it only to learn which channels work.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep your Stripe customer identifier and your subscription status.
- Technical data: our servers log requests (IP address, time, page requested) for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting. Secret tokens in links are masked in logs.
- Email delivery: we record that a digest or notice was sent, and we process delivery-failure notices so we stop writing to addresses that bounce.
We do not collect your card details during the 14-day free trial. We do not run advertising trackers, and we set no tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage keeps your private manage token and the first-touch marketing source on your own device.
How we use it
- To match public SAM.gov opportunities to your profile and email you the daily digest.
- To send service emails: a notice before your trial ends, billing and account messages.
- To provide support, prevent abuse and keep the Service secure.
- To understand, in aggregate, which channels bring signups and conversions.
The opportunity data we match against is public information published by SAM.gov. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
Who processes data for us
- Stripe (payments and the billing portal).
- Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online (sending and receiving email from our business email addresses).
- Cloudflare (DNS) and our hosting provider (the server that runs the Service).
These providers act on our instructions and under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Every recurring email has an unsubscribe link, and mail clients that support it show a one-click unsubscribe. Unsubscribing stops all email from the Service. Cancelling a trial or subscription also stops digests.
Retention and deletion
We keep your profile while your account exists. To delete your account and profile, email support@automationglass.com from the address you signed up with; we delete it within 30 days. We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Residents of California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions with privacy laws may have additional rights, which we honour regardless of where you live. Email support@automationglass.com; we respond within 30 days.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Manage tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
International users
We operate from the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and in the countries where our providers operate.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above, and for material changes we will email active users.
